Handcrafted in the Hrothgar’s Hoard workshop from solid hardwoods, each chest is built without plywood, veneers, or stains, allowing the natural beauty of the wood grain to define every piece. Eye colors are randomly assorted at the time of production and cannot be specified when ordering, encouraging customer interaction and personal selection at retail.

Designed to hold a standard set of polyhedral gaming dice, the Mimic Dice Chest draws inspiration from the iconic Mimic monster of early tabletop roleplaying games. Its compact footprint (4 × 4.25 × 3.75 inches) and lightweight construction make it easy to display, store, and gift, while removable foam inserts provide flexible interior storage. Each chest includes a set of chromatic “mimic food” dice, designed to evoke what an adventurer might find inside a Mimic’s innards.
