Pokemon TCG tournament to gather canned (non-perishable packaged) food donations in support of Macomb Food Program.
Format: Standard, Best of One
Check-in will be from 2:00pm to 2:30pm followed by up to 4 Swiss paired rounds.
At Check-in, we will be collecting donations
Tournament Cost: At least 5 non‐perishable packaged food items (minimum of 10.5 oz with an expiration date of no sooner than 3/1/2026). More than 5 item donations also welcome. Players may donate two (2) dollar in lieu of one (1) canned good if they wish (i.e. 10 dollars and no cans, 4 dollars and 3 cans, etc). Please use cash for this substitution.
Prizes:
Players will receive a Play! Pokemon Prize Pack and 4 tokens at Check-in. Each match will have a token anted per player with winning player claiming both tokens. Tokens can be redeemed for a Play! Pokemon Prize Pack at the end of Round 4 at the rate of 1 token per pack, with a bonus prize pack available for undefeated players.
Additional Prizes will be available.
Please note that while a player may bring in more than 5 food items and are encouraged to do so, they can only use 5 food items for the event. Bringing more than 5 does not entitle the Player to more prizing. The additional food items would be a donation above and beyond what is required to participate.
Donations go to Macomb Food Program.
'Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

'Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

'Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '

'Heavily Played condition cards exhibit signs of heavy wear. Heavily Played condition cards may include cards that have significant creasing, folding, severe water damage, heavy whitening, heavy border wear, and /or tearing. '

'Damaged condition cards show obvious tears, bends, or creases that could make the card illegal for tournament play, even when sleeved. Damaged condition cards have massive border wear, possible writing or major inking (ex. white-bordered cards with black-markered front borders), massive corner wear, prevalent scratching, folds, creases or tears. '
